What We Need  

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to support our sales and finance departments.

What You’ll Do

As an Accounting Associate, you will work closely with the CFO to manage the accounting and financial functions for the organization. You will work across the organization with the sales, business operations, finance and human resources departments to complete varied tasks and projects as assigned. 

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance:

•        Managing and tracking payables

•        Maintaining daily cash flow

•        Tracking and maintaining credit cards

•        Process weekly check runs

•        Monthly and year-end closes; account reconciliations

•        Journal entries and adjustments

•        Revenue reconciliation

•        Budget tracking

•        Bank deposits

•        State tax set-up

•        PO creation

Sales Process:

•        Processing orders to invoices daily

•        Working with customers for payments

•        Processing credit card payments from customers


•        Bi-weekly payroll processing

•        Payroll reconciliation

•        Commission calculation and tracking

Job Requirements

Who You Are

You have:

  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of urgency and attention to detail

  • Previous work experience in an early stage, fast growing company and/or creative agency

  • Stellar organizational skills and a high degree of confidentiality

  • An ability to take ownership and responsibility for completing projects, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Clear, proactive, and fearless communication, both written and verbal

  • Excellent people skills


•       Accounting or Finance Degree strongly preferred

•       2-3 years’ experience in an accounting role required

•       1-2 years’ experience with bookkeeping including cutting checks and entering invoices

•       Previous experience with entering hours and processing payroll preferred

•       Experience supporting multiple teams including sales, business operations, human resources and finance

•        Experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

•        Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred

•        Must be able to pass a background and credit check
